Optimal Recruitment Process at SkillTech for Technical Talent

At SkillTech, an effective recruitment process lies at the heart of our success. Our thorough approach is the key to finding the right candidates. In addition to technical skills and fluent English, we strongly assess motivation and, most importantly, the willingness to relocate internationally. We are not merely seeking temporary foreign workers; our aim is to find individuals who are willing to integrate into the host country and build a future there. Despite the abundance of candidates, selecting the best is crucial. The personal demeanor of candidates is also essential; we seek not followers but enthusiastic and critically thinking professionals with an open mindset. Our in-house specialists ultimately handle the final selection. With decades of experience in recruiting, selecting, and developing technical talent, we are well-equipped to form a balanced and expert team.

Recruitment and selection

Our focus is on final-year university and HBO students who are about to graduate, as well as recent graduates pursuing master’s degrees or not. Our deliberate choice of locations in Eastern and Central Romania offers a lower standard of living compared to the prosperous Western part of the country. Work ethics are particularly high in the East. Although sometimes seen as traditional, we observe that values like discipline, respect, and obedience remain deeply rooted here.

Employment module

In contrast to Western Europe, we see significant numbers of female students in technical faculties in Romania. At SkillTech, we welcome both men and women in our student body. Our experience shows that the presence of women in our technical environment positively impacts the work atmosphere and performance within our organizations.

Payroll module

Some clients prefer to be actively engaged in the recruitment process to select their future employees early on. At SkillTech, we naturally provide this option. Furthermore, there’s also the possibility to incorporate specific knowledge into our training program. By being involved from the outset, we can achieve an optimal match that aligns with your needs and expectations.

Secondment

This module is suitable for assignments with a certain period of time and/or for the real specialists that you need for a period of six months, for example.

Relocation

If you have found a foreign employee yourself, a lot is involved in the relocation, such as:

  • Applications for work and/or residence permits
  • Assisting with the move
  • Finding suitable accommodation
  • Registering with the municipality and obtaining a BSN (social security number)
  • Taking out the necessary insurances
  • Finding childcare and/or training
  • Exchange driver’s license

In collaboration with our relocation partner, we can take all these matters off your hands. You can also choose to have only some parts performed by us.
